How is the weather and atmosphere Albufeira Algarve Portugal in October 2021?
We are visiting Albufeira that is located in Algarve Portugal, in October, to see what is the vibe of this resort town in this time of year.
We found Albufeira in October to be very vibrant and alive, all the terraces are open and there was music on the streets! I prefer Albufeira in this season because it's not so crowded but the wheatear is still amazing.
Even if it's not my vibe, I spent a great day in Albufeira just walking the Old Town, admiring the houses, and of course, eating at a terrace with a spectacular view over the ocean.
Also we took the opportunity to launch the drone, so you will find some drone shots from Albufeira in this video.

Thank you for this lovely video. We just came back from our 1st trip to PT visiting Porto, Lisbon and eastern Algarve. Your description of the Algarve was perfect! I felt so relaxed in the warm early/mid-November sun, I couldn’t believe how beautiful, warm and pieceful the beach was! I didn’t want to leave. I didn’t want to come home! I just wanted to stay and enjoy the environment and tranquility. It was a pleasant surprise that you’ve captured my feelings about the Algarve as I experienced a few days ago. Obrigado.

There are many considerations we need to make plus a few more trips to PT to experience “winter” and “summer” weather conditions…at a minimum. I’m very pleased w/your videos and appreciate when you also mention requirements for EU citizens. While we live in the SF Bay Area, I’m a dual US/EU citizen so I appreciate when you mention what may or may not apply to EU citizens since most YT videos are geared to D7 visa applicants. What a treat to see nobody wearing masks while walking around outside - is it required indoors to wear a mask? Portugal has done an amazing job of getting their population vaccinated. The reward is life in prepandemic normal mode. 👍💕

Yes, in Portugal outside the mask is not mandatory but it is inside, so inside you have to wear it. Sometimes in crowded places people wear the mask even outside. This goes to show how much people are respecting the rules here and even go above and beyond the rules to make sure they are not getting sick and protect everyone. Here you can really sense community, and in the smaller towns, even more.
