You should do this same type of thing with waking the fallen if you like this style of screaming and stuff, or city of evil, city of evil has better drums than waking the fallen and you made it seem like you hadn't heard the whole of city of evil

Too bad they basically never play anything from this album. They sometimes play to end the rapture i guess but that nearly doesn't count Imo. They rarely play some of the better tracks from waking the fallen either. I would rather hear nearly anything but unholy confessions live at this point. What's up with not listening to the album in one sitting though? It's a better experience then splitting it up so much..

This album is mad fuckin underrated, I’ve been a fan for 20yrs and alot of the fanbase considers this their worst or 2nd worst record, their next 2 Waking the fallen and city of evil are their most widely considered top 2 records which I agree with that but still this record rips for a debut album that was written by high schoolers. Easily some of the revs most wild drum work and he recorded all the drums in a single take which is wild. Also syn wasn’t in the band yet when they made so zacky was doing all the guitar work, only song syn is on for this record is the to end the rapture track which was a re issue version that he was on which came later obviously, Johnny wasn’t bassist yet either, the next record was both of their firsts with the band. Zacky wrote so many cool ass riffs for this record and the only guitarist. All these songs were written by shadows and zacky and then rev just went ham for his drum parts. Lastly the focus at like ~22 mins are from Matt’s now wife Val, she is ride or die as fuck, was basically their manager then and ran their merch table and even borrowed money from her parents for A7X so they could tour and record and shit lol, 20+yrs later and they still around and have multiple kids, she’s in the seize the day video off the city of evil record. Anyway really cool and underrated album imo, nice reaction.
