I have started taking Empagliflozin since Dec-2021. Before I started, back in that time my urine albumin / creatinine ratio was 7.23. But after taking Empagliflozin for 4 months, by April-2022; urine albumin / creatinine ratio has increased to 40. With this medication my diabetes control have improved but I am really concerned regarding if there is a renal side effect. Have you recorded any such situations? Thank you.

As per value provided by you ACR is 280mg/gm which is in between 30-300mg/gm so it comes in A2 category that is moderately high value

It's not normal. Means in very small amount albumin is coming in the urine. You should repeat the test for the confirmation
