Having issue connecting to new phone (S23 ultra running Android 13)... Asking for location services when it's already enabled... Any help available?

The step from 1:50 to 2:05 is the real hard part. The screws are located so close to one another and if you are installing this doorbell near a wall ledge, you will have even lesser space and reach to attach the wires to the two screws. That step itself took a frustrating 45 minutes for me. I hope the designers come up with a better layout of the screws where the wires need to be connected. Also that snap sound when attaching the device to the bracket never came for me. I tried sliding it down but it seems a bit loose still. May have great functionality over time but bad overall design.

Did you have to cut the power to the doorbell like the instructions are claiming??

Mine will not send notifications to my phone, I have added email-not sure why needed, enabled notifications in app and in phone setting, okayed sending notifications when it asked me. App seems to disconnect from doorbell and I need to shut app down and restart to get to connect. Also doesn’t seem to reliably capture motion especially at night

Jim Campeau Your problem is with your in-house transformer, I do believe it is underpowered . To solve it you need transformer 16 - 24 volt with 30 va output. It will work fine. Very very good device. I’m using it. It works fine.

Zuhair Hlayel actually after spending some time with ALC support it turned out that I did not have the latest firmware version. After I installed the firmware update it works as should. Software is still not the most user friendly and it’s difficult to get videos to reply sometimes.

I can't get the app to connect and the website was no help. I'm using iOS connects to bt but then it says it BT Disconnected

Yes you can. You need 16 - 24 volt transformer with 30 va output. The transformer is available on Amazon, you need power outlet near the installing place. It is very good device for the price.

Hairy Black Beard Be sure that the transformer is 16 - 24 volt and at least 30 va output. Good WiFi signal is required. Very good device for the price. Good luck.
