Another great video! Never been to San Francisco. I enjoyed this Alcatraz video and the later uptakes. Brian is absolutely hilarious, and this is the reason I continue to watch their work. I have been looking at KZbin videos of a couple other people who travel and share their experiences on video as a living, and I have enjoyed their work, but Brian and Michelle are quite the team. Michelle states sometimes that she is anxious, but she sees calm, so I don’t always see her anxiety. I look forward to catching up watching their previous video travels since I just now discovered them. I wish I could afford to travel, but as a disabled RN at age 64 without a significant other, this isn’t possible. Thank you for the entertainment and education I have received as you both share your journeys.

Wow you are helping so many! My husband is a local from SF and when we went back to see friends in the pow wow at Alcatraz we paid $15 an HOUR because of course everywhere was full. Also, I couldn’t wait to leave Alcatraz because of the eerie feeling there that I felt walking through it. Somehow we missed this video the first time around so it was fun to watch you two there today. Hope Michelle‘s mom is still doing better!

I should have held back my comments about Alcatraz for this video. The audio tour was awesome, especially the voices of some former inmates. When booking our tour, we choose the night tour. Walking around was a bit eerie. Good video, take care and be safe.

2nd floor of D block was were people wanted be because you could see out the windows and see yhe city. I have been over there so many times I think I could give tours.

I wonder how they balance keeping the integrity of the "old" building, and keep it from crumbling away? Did you feel any "energy" ;)?

Good question! We didn’t get any feedback about the upkeep, but they did have workers there tending to the gardens. 😁 I think we were in amazement of actually being there while knowing the history and listening to the audio tour. So many people tour alcatraz that I think they may have scared the “energies” away! 😉 There were a couple times I definitely had a “weird” feeling. 😊
