Never thought I’d ever miss this time as much as I do now as an old man. There was pause and adults hadn’t left the room. When things were defined and most of us tried our best to seek the truth, not make up ones. Back when we were taught to overcome the hand we were dealt, not identify with it. When we were never told we were special, but instead unique. When we looked out for our fellow man and weren’t hung up on self. Our country has embraced nihilism and has lost its way. What a mess.

Are you kidding. Life wasn’t great for people that aren’t white. You all romanticize an era that was hell for people of color. Shame on you
@larkatmic2 жыл бұрын
@@aliciasouza3899 Shame on you for assuming it was an awful time for people of color. What do you know? Were you there? If so, were you living in hell? I think not. So stop your racist tripe. You sound like a progressive supremacist hung up and identifying with emotions. Were you never taught to overcome them? Step away from your ego. You are not your ego. The ego thrives in anger and hysterics. Its a spiritual battle going on today, just like then between what’s right and what’s wrong. Not between races. Break free from your deluded emotions and you will see you are harboring lies that keep the races divided and your ego fed. I wish you well.

The instructor: Harry Mack Hannum February 23, 2013 Harry Mack Hannum, formerly of Cincinnati, OH, and recently of Cape Coral, FL, passed away 2/23/13 at the age of 91. After graduating from Western Hills High School in Cincinnati, OH, Harry earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree from the University of Cincinnati, although his education was interrupted when he served his country as a B-25 pilot in the Pacific Theater of World War II, service for which he was decorated. Continuing in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, he ultimately devoted 30 years of service and obtained the rank of Lt. Col. He enjoyed flying recreationally for many years afterward. Harry devoted 31 years to his passion for education. His many roles included teacher, football coach, host of a driver's education series on PBS, principal (of Woodward high school, where his reputation was noted in a Life magazine article), and ultimately, superintendent (of Finneytown Schools). Another of Harry's lifelong passions was sports. He played minor league baseball for the Fort Pierce Bombers in the Florida East Coast League, softball into his 70s, and golf into his 80s. He co-founded the Miami View Golf Club and was a longtime member of the Cape Coral Country Club. He avidly followed the Cincinnati Reds and UC Bearcats. Harry is survived by Shirley (Steinfeld), his wife of 63 years whom he met and wed during college; son Wayne Hannum (Virginia); daughters Lynne Stewart (Mark) and Gail Rodgers (David); and 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by son Scott Hannum (Pam). Harry was well-liked and appreciated by everyone he met. He will be greatly missed.

The good news: fewer people are driving drunk these days. The bad news: It's because they are texting.

Sorry, folks: Not the '50s at all, but 1964 or later. Two giveaways: 1. the joke at the beginning about trouble not being in your set was taken from the TV show "The Outer Limits", which debuted in 1963, and 2. The "horse-collar" microphone first used in the early 1960s but NOT the '50s.

That sounds like it might also be a gut bacteria issue. People often get that way with gut bacteria. My understanding is that blood sugar will not cause the breathalyzer to trip, but a gut bacteria issue might.

DUI unfortunately usually results in the drunk driver surviving and the innocent buss full of pregnant nuns rarely fairs so well. Especially w the repealing of roe v. Wade.
