“Why Me? The Effects Of Alcohol And Other Drugs on Driving Abilities” is a 1978 color educational film presented by the South Carolina Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. This anti-driving under the influence film was made possible from a grant by the South Carolina Governor’s Highway Safety Programs and features footage of controlled experiments featuring four test subjects as they drive through a set up course sober, drunk, and under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Produced by the Instructional Services Center at the University of South Carolina, the film includes typical 1970s party attire and vehicles and is shot in the Seabrook Island area of South Carolina.

Poor volunteer nearly quit after the driving ordeal with Don! Anyway, this experiment was quite interesting. By now the public is well aware of the danger of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or benzos, but OTC antihistamines don't occur to many people as a DUI issue. I've watched so many police bodycam videos of DUI suspects performing roadside sobriety tests. It's disturbing to see just how common driving under the influence is, even with all the statistics and known tragedies, and even for repeat DUI offenders.

I always felt marijuana made 6 beers which is too many like 12. Now it’s legalized in many places even for recreation. I’m sure in many minds that also means legal to drive.

Usually I have trouble seeing but my buddy has trouble steering so I drive the car and he tells my when to turn. We're a good drunk driving team😉
