Yes, reminds me of coastal water areas. Also is reminiscent of what I call “ Lord Asrial skies”, Phillip Pullmans imaginative writings, His Dark Materials books. Thank you for sharing this whole piece of work in progress, you are very generous with your gifted time.

Your work is amazing!! I was totally engaged from beginning to end.. the process and your background music brings out many emotions, very dramatic. When you took your first break I thought WOW that’s a big ink blot and then you created this beautiful piece of art!!! I am completely mesmerized by your work and can’t wait to let my fears go and just have fun with my alcohol inks. Thank you so much for sharing your process. Excellent!!

Hi, just wanted to say how much I love your channel and your art. ❤️ I’m new to alcohol ink, well any kind of painting really. I’ve always done a tone of crafts and costume making, but wanted to try something else creative to basically try and get myself out of a depression. I love how you explain everything as you go along, you have a very soothing voice and I also love your choice in music. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent with people like myself. 💕💕💕🌷🌷🌷

I have watched pretty much all your videos, so beautiful but also I enjoy you the person behind the painting, your love of beauty and the way you express it. You put so much of yourself into these videos, I feel like we're old friends after watching so many of your Beautiful videos. You have inspired me to enjoy playing with colors rather than worrying about the final product. I tried using alcohol inks a year ago, but got frustrated when I realized it wasn't as easy as it looked. But I had a knee replacement a couple weeks ago, and this downtime with the Covid has blessed me with less pressure of time, and a more contemplative, meditative approach to painting with alcohol ink.thank you for sharing your approach, I can't wait to get started again.

Hello there! You know, I am not at all surprised that you’ve had all these complementary comments! I too was completely mesmerised from start to finish. The time, the effort, your imagination knows no bounds! You are very inspirational. I too am totally hooked on watching you create your wonderful pieces. One lady said, to her, it was a beautiful glacier. With the particular colours you used, I would agree. But you know what? It has something ‘other worldly’ for me. My imagination was in over-drive because I saw so many different aspects to it. In the end, after all your patient details were finished, I couldn’t take my eyes off it and decided that it’s a very very beautiful alien landscape. Awesome! Stunning! A very Unique work of art . Congratulations to you!! I apologise for going on and on about it. But..........WOW!!! Thank you for allowing us to watch you at work. 🙏🙏🙏🤗

Magnificent! You have me mesmerized. I've got a long ways to go but you are such an inspiration. I'm curious what speed your dryer is set at - high or low? Also, does the speed of the dryer depend on the size of the work? Thank you so much for your teachings, truly.

Thank you so much. I do low mostly but yes the speed does matter depending on the size and the distance and amount of Alcohol you have to move

Thank you, you said you prepared the canvas, I couldn’t understand with what and how. Could you elaborate in more detail about that? I really love your creation. It’s beautiful.

Exciting process, and can’t wait to begin learning…Questions! Difference between Ranger Alcohol Blending Solution or just using the Isopropyl Alcohol..and what strength? 70% or 99% best? - when applying Kilz 2 to already triple primed Canvas, is necessary to sand and prime several times as you suggest? - are the Coptic “Alcohol Sketch Marker Sets” the same ink, etc. as the Coptic 100 Black, you suggest? Difference between? Whew! Many questions already…and just! starting. Thanks…just “subscribed”!

Thank you so much for subscribing. Ok I will try to answer your questions as best as I could. - I have a video comparing the different alcohols in my videos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWLciGOAq9msmck - I sand my canvas' down to give me a smoother surface to help the ink move better. - The copic marker sets are similar ink but more difficult to get the drops out. I usually use the copic refills for those markers. I have color swatch videos in my older videos showing all the different colors. I also made swatches that are free to download on my blog.

Hi! Enjoying your videos! Thank you for all the information you share! It is very helpful. 🙂 I do have questions... Do you manually sand your canvases or use a device? I understand you use 400, 800, and 2000 grit but is there a brand you recommend? Thank you again for sharing you art, techniques, and so much valuable information. 👩‍🎨🎨

Thank you, I sometimes manually wet sand with 400 first and second, then on the last one I'll go 800 to give it a smoother texture in certain areas. I don't sand the whole area only areas i want smooth vs the texture it gives it more depth.

I love your artwork. I'm starting to out alcohol ink art and I'm looking at all the great artists on KZbin. Where do you get such a large amount of alcohol ink for big canvas. Do you mix it yourself or can you buy large bottles of Alcohol ink ? Greatings from Iceland 🙂🇮🇸

Thank you so much for this video. It was very labour-intensive. I’d like to ask what type of hairdryer you use, and do you use it on the cool or warm/hot setting? I’m in the process of getting a few supplies together to experiment with alcohol inks as I’m completely enthralled. Many thanks.

+Maureen Cummin I use a standard hair dryer that has hot and cold settings and low medium and high settings. I typically use it on cold or warm unless I'm trying to speed up the drying process in which I'll use hot but very momentarily. I have a link at the bottom of my video in the description that links to my Amazon store and I have links to all my supplies. So if you're interested you can check out the supplies there. Thank you for the kind comment.
