I'm a KSU fan, and I still don't see the "punch" from Morning star in this video. It also embarrasses me that HCFM said that Clemente had a swollen jaw and intimated that it was because of a blow from a KU player...when anyone watching the game knows it was because he got kneed by his own teammate in the second half while going for a loose ball. QUIT CRYING and friggin' move on! Having our star player BAWLING like a baby at the end of the game doesn't help either!

While I can see where you might think there was a punch, watch the video - along with the next couple of seconds not here - in real time. As forceful as the move is, if Brady actually connected, Clemente would not have moved as well afterwards as he did. I.E., he would have been on the ground clutching his gut, instead of walking away.

Interesting....that there is NO Punch in the video. If you were looking for clear cut evidence that NO punch was thrown you picked a good clip. It also conveniently stops right before Clemente retaliates and gets T'd up and costs his team the game.

There's no way in hell Morningstar is trying to take a charge. You don't take a charge with a closed fist with your other arm out to the side. You use both arms with open hands. Not to mention, Morninstar's hand doesn't stop where it would if he was covering up. It continues to move up into Clemente's body.

Morningstar DID get the foul, rightly so. But Clemente's elbow & subsequent technical foul (distinction on intentional) returned the possession to Kansas. No punch was thrown by Morningstar, just a blocking foul

So many points here. 1) You, a KSU fan, showing Clemente getting a T. Okay. 2) You bring up Morningstar's off-court behavior as to predispose the viewer to try to see something that does not happen. Punches are very obvious. Like the elbow Clemente threw. 3) If a punch was thrown, you would have seen Clemente milk it much more. He would have recoiled, pleaded to the ref, etc. etc. Refute any of that, please.

Very well, actually. Of course, I doubt you care about the problems Beasley has had since growing up in a rough part of D.C. and then having the courage to admit he has a problem before hurting anyone else. Add on top of that the fact that the Miami Heat have said they are fully behind him, and that he has returned to Miami, I say it went well, and appears to have done Michael a great service. More so than anyone can say of Brad Morningstar.

Have you ever played basketball? Apparantly not, because if you had, you'd know that the first thing a player does when he's trying to take a charge is lower is hands to cover his junk. Which is obviously what Morningstar is doing. Also, if there was a punch, why didn't Clemente bring it up in the postgame interview? And don't even say that Clemente wouldn't have elbowed Brady except as retaliation. When Reed legitimately boxed Clemente out, Clemente responded with a slap to the head.

The thing about this play is that in fact Morningstar was called for the foul, and then Clemente threw the elbow after the whistle and was called for an intentional technical foul, in which Clemente would have shot free throws, but instead, Kansas did and then got possession. Clemente forgot that winning is more important than being a thug!

KU has one BCS bowl win in its history. Of course, they couldn't win the conference that year...didn't have to play Texas or Oklahoma...lucked out with a crappy VA Tech team...and could never repeat that success, even with the same overrated, morbidly obese coach. KU is a one-trick pony school, and that pony is nationally known for choking in March.

I'm not saying Brady was set, or that he didn't commit a blocking foul. He probably did block him, and it was probably a bad attempt to draw a charge, but there's a big difference between commiting a blocking foul and throwing a punch. My whole point is that he was at least TRYING to draw a charge, and there's no way he threw a punch the way fatty claims he did. Seriously though, if you want to have any credibility as a rational human being, do not associate yourself in any way with fatty.

Clemente is a good player, he's got skills. Here's the deal. Morningstar, although he's impressed me this season, is not the player that Clemente is. He's good, but like I said, Clemente has more skill. In this case, Morningstar is just trying to stay in front. Taking the foul instead of getting schooled is always the smart choice. Looks like Clemente went for the neck first, Brady's just holding on from there. Seems to me like its good physical basketball from both guys. Anyway, Rock Chalk.

That being said, they are a young team with a hell of a lot of talent and the best coach in the big 12, yeah I know Bill Self is good, but he couldn't do half of what Frank Martin does at K-State.
