it oxidizes the first OH depending on whether its primary secondary or tertiary. Then it gets the second one. Everything else is the same I think.

The third butanol isomer she draws it isn’t butanol is it because the longest chain of carbon is 3 so it is actually propanol and to make it butanol there has to be a methyl group on the chain of 4 carbon atoms and the same with the 4th it is not butanol for the same reason

it's an structural isomer of butanol, thats what the question asks for. Structural isomer meaning same molecular formula with different structural formula.

the question didn't say the alcohol formed had to be butanol, just an isomer of it, so the alcohol only needed to have the same molecular formula which it did.
