Hi Mark and Coral, I'm unsure your van will have this, ours is an Alde setup so not sure if the whale system has this? It will be interesting to hear if it does though. I think I'm correct in thinking (presuming) the system you have is Whale and blown air? Same system as my parents old caravan - let us know, cheers. Andy and Kim.

@tanksontour mine is a blown air system, but the control panel has a clock and timer settings which I have to reset each time we go away, so you have me thinking, maybe there is or can have a battery backup

You'd never find that if you didn't know. I assume the dealer told you where is was?

You’d presume they would but alas, noooo, it’s only because I knew these vans had them that I had looked, others may not have. Hope this helps them save time and a little money 👍

No, you are right. I've moved it after I filmed it. Thinking. What a idiot I am 😮 all criticism accepted 😊

@@paulandsarahcaravanlife no idiot Paul, I thought it made perfect sense at the time, and kind of where you’d expect the batteries to be. I think our battery placement in the Bailey could be better and more obvious 🤦🏻♂️ I’d prefer if Alde had the battery incorporated in the unit and accessible from the front panel, like the caravan fridge igniter batteries.
