While you have the interface panel apart you will note that there are also a couple of pins for connecting a 9v battery, fitment of which saves setting the panel every time you switch it on.

Handy to know. At some point in the future, I’ll have a similar panel to replace in our Motorhome, I’ll have a look at that point.

That's really interesting. I have a remote sensor in the bedroom, but I think it's connected to the Swift Command Panel not the Alde. It's got me thinking, could I install another sensor for the lounge.
