@Mastagon he's playing some pretty intense excerpts that require him to go into many difficult ranges of the instrument, I would be very surprised if you didn't hear any air leakage from time to time.

Ciao,i just got one Tuono and all i can say it's amazing.The low register is sooo easy and powerfull.Even though i preferred a piston tuba,when i tried this model it was far better then the piston models i've tried before.It's a great instrument and good job help Meinl Weston develop this instrument.Now it's up to me to practice and make it sound as you do:)))

All the previous comments are probably made by people who don t have a clue about modern tuba playing... since this is one of the best esecution of excerpts in youtube, everybody who complained about fuzzy sound should just go to practice more rather than pretending to know what is a fuzzy sound!! Playing tuba in a modern orchestra is different playing tuba in wind band. They have different roles. A bright weighty sound is needed in the orchestra while a full organ-like sound is preferred in wind band. Two different sound concepts.

@omegamonthesexman Compares with my old PT-6P the Tuono has much more weight, and the projection is better too. the biggest difference is the easy of playing specially the low register

Does anyone know why you can hear the articulation as if the mouthpiece is miked? I might be wrong, but to me it doesn't sound like its coming from the bell itself. I can't see his face full on, but it looks like the mouthpiece is sitting far to one side of his face, and that the sound is actually a little air leakage from one side of his lips.
