I was actually there for this, on the left side of the isle as he walks down I can see the people i was sitting with, everyone was excited to see Leann and John Elway, but the whole room changed when he walked in. This was even better in person because when the power went out John Elway was on stage and Robin jumped on stage and started yelling what John was saying and signing, it was hilarious and random, and afterwards they all had a little table set up for pictures and autographs and he made sure to stay and meet everyone that wanted to meet him, even after the others were done. The world lost a icon of comedy, when Robin was here the world seemed a better place , he always brightened the place up , just his name alone made people laugh and smile, let alone when he was in full bore on stage he made cry with laughter so so many times . Godspeed Robin G.B.N.F. Ever

In this dark moment we are all facing in the world, a sparkle of joy and love gives hope to go on and do our best. I wouldn't say that those marines were lucky to be there, but at least you've got a moment to remember and keep in your hearts. Robin was a genius, the bear thing was making me cry!. God bless Robin, who posted this and all you people, out there take care and be strong! Love from Italy

The man was always switched to ON....but never allowed to quiet the voices in his head.....RIP my grateful friend who allowed me to enjoy life through your voices through all of my life, a life that didn't help you when you needed it the most. For that, the humans of this life of the World apologizes for its misstep in helping you when you truly needed it the most

Robin Williams.. what a great man! Him and the others were let off the plane near the Fire Station at Al Asad. All the firefighters on duty that day were not able to attend their show. On the way in, he stopped and shook everyone's hand. On the way back to the plane is when he and everyone else stopped and took pictures with the firefighters. John Elway threw a football with some of the firefighters there, and everyone signed autographs. I was there at the station, and managed to go see him at the theater too. He is missed.
