Just a little context about the very beginning of the video: Nothing too extreme happened to me, I was just in a car accident where it was the other person’s fault, hence the “someone almost did k-ll me though” joke. My airbags went off as I was honking the horn at them and the airbags caused some fractures in both hands. This was filmed in mid December so my cast is off now and I saw my doctor a few days ago and he said I’m all good to go now. Anyway, that’s all! Thanks for watching and being patient for the new upload!

YAY!!!! Thanks for doing a review of this. Now I've been a LONG time Muppet fan since the late 80's. Yes I'm really old......not really just some people would think that if they were born in the 2000's. You were really funny and I enjoy that you too enjoy the Muppets too. Always fun to meet or see or hear or watch a video of someone talking about them. I subscribed and can't wait for more to come.

I was a more of a casual fan of the Muppets in 2008. When I was little, I saw all their movies on cable at my grandma‘s house and I owned the Muppet Christmas Carol on VHS. I remember watching these first run! I found them again on TikTok and KZbin and they’re still a fun watch! I I remember being so jealous of Miss Piggy singing with the Jonas Brothers! She dubbed herself the Jonas sister before the public called their future wive(s) that name. Also the one with Beaker singing This is Me is still so cute!

It’s insane how so many people have been making videos about The Muppets from December alone! Maybe because it’s been a full decade since the last Muppets movie released! I feel like all of us miss live action family movies being good AND successful. I know this because I actually saw IF in theaters and for a while, it was the highest grossing non-franchise movie ranked somewhere in like #16!

This video made me solve how to make a good modern Muppet Show: remake the original. No, really. Make it a "Friday night talk show" Kermit opens with a quick monologue and then remains back stage directing all the different acts. Get guest stars to do some bits, write some updated jokes and there you go. Seth Meyers has a bit where he argues with his camera man, Johnny Carson had a guy he was just mean to, every show has a live band on stage, Statler and Waldorf can be in the audience. The only thing, don't make it too meta where they leave the stage like in modern Muppet projects. Kermit's bits can be updated to reflect whatever is topical that week so they can produce episodes on a reasonable pace instead of weekly. It writes itself and idk why they refuse to do it

She's pretty much my least favorite Muppet ever since I watched the original Muppet Show. She pined after Kermit, despite him constantly saying "no" multiple times, and she got jealous of almost every young female guest star that Kermit showed attraction to. Nowadays, Kermit doesn't even have to flirt with any female costars- he just has to have a friendly conversation with one, and Miss Piggy automatically views her as a threat.

This is a long comment so please hear me out. I feel like crossovers have been a dying breed for kids shows. Yeah, I know Jellystone and Chibiverse exist; you don’t have to remind me! But because all the tv networks have been massacring kids shows except the nostalgic ones, we’ve gotten little potential for crossovers. This is especially a problem with Disney Channel because, as I’ve said, all the kids shows have ended except ones based on nostalgia because kids don’t watch cable anymore and it gives them an pathetic excuse to cancel them and attempt to appeal to older millennials who grew out of them. Which is why all of Disney Channel’s or Nickelodeon’s live action shows are either sequels to shows people from that demographic loved or has Tyler Perry money. It’s why Bunk’d and Raven’s Home were the only live action shows that Disney Channel made crossovers for since the 2015 Monstober Spooktacular crossover AND the only ones they let end on their own terms and the only two “new” live action shows are also sequels: Wizards Beyond Waverly Place and Alice In The Palace. It’s why Adult Swim took up more and more of Cartoon Network’s schedule time and opens every “night” with Checkered Past, a block of reruns of Cartoon Network classics. The last live action crossover we’ve gotten from either network was That Young Warped Danger Hustle from Nickelodeon and Booker guest starring on Saturdays which I don’t think Disney Channel ever cared about. Sure, there are a couple actual original shows from all networks combined that are in production, but who’s to say that even they don’t also get shunted to make room for sequel shows? I’m just saying, good luck Rock, Paper, Scissors fans. Cuz it’s the only wholly original non franchise show that Nickelodeon has now that people seem to like. Yeah, screw you, Tyler Perry.
