What a masterful game from Alekhine, he really squeezed Nimzo in this one. Thank you Jerry for sharing it with us!

This was the game that allowed people to coin the term "Alekhine's gun."

You do not need to repeat what Gary is saying. Don't pretend it to be your knowledge, unless you are idiot.

Nimzowitsch failed to over-defend his knight. 😏

The sidelines make me think you should do a series regarding successful exchange sacrifices. Lots of my fav games involve giving a rook to crack the ice and going on to win. Nice commentary as always.

Thank you Jerry. Always appreciate your kind sign offs. Needed to hear that, today. And this is one of the most awe-inspiring, terrifying things I've ever seen in sport. Incredible.

i believe this game already shows Alekhine's endgame prowess. Not allowing any counterplay and putting your opponent in zugzwang in a middlegame!

And the irony here is Nimzo has an immortal game where he zugzwanged his opponent.

Yea, also, Zugswang was a great idea, also F3 knight would come to B7 wiuld be a great bother😂, I'm a strong player, but I suck in games with less than 10 mins time, to be honest I cant see moves well when time pressure is there, on the contrary some friends even they get bored of 5 mins games and play either 3 min or 1 min extreme blitz, I don't understand how.. 😂

I have seen the 12:51 pop quiz move earlier than his putting all rooks and queen on Line C. That slick move would win as he had to move the Knight somewhere else
