Kamila has a fantastic flexibility what brings her spins better than Alena, otherside this implies that her jumps have not the same strenght as Alena. And the fact that Alena is older so she can interpret better. So at the moment Alena is better, but Kamila is a great promise to be the next great ice star.

Aliona has the fling, the combination and the layback. That’s the only difference, the rest is cookie cutter, like a carbon copy...

Я не могу отдать предпочтение какой-то одной программе. Ангел Алёны - это настолько идеальная программа, что не могу подобрать подходящие слова, чтоб описать, просто пересматриваю до сих пор, насколько точно подобрана музыка, как проработан образ, идея программы, платье, какое красивое скольжение у Алёны, а этот пролётный, высокий, мощный тройной аксель, просто балдею от просмотра. Шторм Камилы- это нежность, это умиротворение, это ПОЭМА! При просмотре из головы улетучиваются все мысли, полностью погружаешься в программу и наслаждаешься ею, а эти вращения! Просто вау! Растяжка, гибкость, утончённость и одновременно мощь! Тройной аксель с руками - просто космос!

@@DiliaraEnglish The rippon actually doesn't make it anymore difficult. It actually makes it easier for her to do it because it stretches the body to make it more aerodynamic. She probably wouldn't be able to do the 3A without the rippon because she doesn't have optimal axel technique. She doesn't jump UP into her axel. Her technique relies on rotation speed rather than height. She will probably lose her 3A once her body develops hips. Look at how Kostornaia lost her 3A even though she has better technique.

Actually if you watch her jump, she only goes into the axel with only one arm, which goes to show they are more focused on rotation rather than height. Still looks impressive though

@@josephappiah5023 First of all, this discussion was about the 3A in this video, not her combinations. But even with her combinations the claim simply isn’t true. She clearly lands on an outside edge, then adjusts to a shallower outside edge for the toe loop take off. There’s often also a change of direction wiggle of her foot, which is a problem, but it is not a change of edge, and is most definitely not an inside edge landing. Early on she had an issue with the 4T coming down on an inside edge, but that’s since been resolved. These constantly repeated claims of her jumps landing on the inside edge are ridiculous.

Alena has poise- she holds her extensions and commits to them through her fingertips. Kamila does the classic Eteri style of rushing movements even for slower songs, which imo detracts from the performance. But Valieva’s flexibility is insane.

У Алёны очень высокий и мощный триксель, но у Камилы потрясающе смотрится за счёт поднятых рук и очень мягкого "кошачьего" приземления. as a previous ballet dancer i must say its actually the opposite. i think what you mean to say is that kamila has the better hyperextensions and flexibility, which may be one of alionas downfalls. but alionas lines, especially with her arms are impeccable. kamila lacks control and sometimes posture, thats why you can pause any second on alionas programs and it will be a picture perfect moment, whereas kamila still needs work in that aspect. also aliona has better leg turnout, which makes for a more elegant look. so i think for dancers: ballet technique goes to aliona, contemporary/modern for kami. both are amazing though!

К тому же у Алёны проблемы со здоровьем. При её характере, я думаю, что она сможет из этого выйти. А Камиле 14, сейчас самый возраст для разучивания квадов. Неизвестно ещё, как её организм будет вести себя в 17

Kamila has better spins for sure - flexible, original, centered.. But Aliona has better jumps - less pre-rotation, toe pick assistant, higher. Also her combo is better. Steps for my opinion are same. Mabye I would say that Kamila´s interpretation is better but Aliona´s elegance and movements are better. So its 50% to 50%. Anyway I love both programs and I never noticed that they are actually same. Which is kinda sad. :/

@@evanperilstein5308 That is true but also Aliona had a problem with musicality in this program as a senior. And you know why? Becase Aliona's program as well as Kamila's program was "build" for just 2 axel. And after they learn 3 axel - which means that they need more time to prepare for this jump. But if you look at Aliona's junior angel or Kamila's storm from the beginning of the season, you will see that they had no problem with their musical feeling. And I meant interpretation as a face expresion which in this video has Kamila better for my opinion.

For me Aliona has better jumps, SS, interpretation, and performance while Kamila wins for her spins. Kamila has horrendous flip and lutz technique. While her toeloop technique is okay, her F and Lz are similar to Satoko IMO.

Вы не правы. Алёна, как раз, получила эти баллы, 89,86 балла, на внутренних соревнованиях, на Чемпионате России, что нельзя засчитать рекордом. И у Камилы, видео с Чемпионата России, только в другой сезон. И автор, не честно поступил, потому что это не лучший результат Камилы. Как раз, мировой рекорд за короткую программу, принадлежит Камиле, 90,45 балла, на Чемпионате Европы. Предыдущий мировой рекорд также принадлежал Камиле (87,45) и был установлен на этапе Гран-при в Сочи. И, зря Вы, про подростковое катание. Валиева - обладательница всех мировых рекордов: в короткой, произвольной и по сумме двух программ.

Тут вообще баллы Алёны не нужно воспринимать за чистую монету-гое за обыкновеннийшие вращения завышены. Сравнить их хотябы с другими фигуристками, кроме Камилы(с ней по вращениям никто не сравним), сразу будет очевидно. Правильнее было бы сравнивать этих фигуристок в одинаковом возрасте, а то тут Камиле 14, а Алёне 17. Странно, что произвольные программы не сравнил, у Алёны ни одного четверного против 3-х Камилы)

While Kamila has better spins, Alena is my favourite of the two here. I truly hope she's able to come back to her prime. Kamila has so many flaws in her jumping technique (nothing new from Team Tut lol) but it's honestly so worrying because those techniques exist to prevent injury as much as possible and they're just... letting her jump with bad technique. Like landing on an inside edge, or extensively using back muscles for the jumps, or even adding rippons to stabilize the axes of her jumps instead of helping her strengthen her core. I really hope that changes as she grows because Kamila is truly a talented skater and I'd be sad to see her go because of preventable injuries.

Scherbakova's jumps make me cringe, idk why, but her skating is otherwise lovely. The judging system is doing them both a horrible disservice by rewarding them on things they should be penalized for.

If they were judged accurately (which is not gonna happen because Kamila is RusFed’s new fave), Kamila’s PCS would be a couple of points lower than Alyona’s because she pumps with her back on her crossovers whereas Alyona has perfect crossover technique. Alyona also has deeper edges.

Косторная просто феноменальная фигуристка. Она очень многое потеряла, к сожалению. Просто ОЧЕНЬ-ОЧЕНЬ-ОЧЕНЬ жаль, так как лучшей фигуристки я не видела. Плавность, лёгкость, эмоциональность, музыкальность, скольжение просто невероятные. Огромный потенциал, данные безграничные. И потеряла все это. Не слежу особо за фигурным катанием, но вот конкретно в ее случае плакать хочется.

АХАХА Вы воспринимаете в штыки то, что и не подразумевалось вызывать негодование. Если вы не удосужились хотя бы немного перевести содержание видео с английского, то не говорите тогда ничего. В этом видео сравнивают программы из образовательных побуждений, показывают названия элементов, которые выполнили фигуристки, их базовые стоимости и полученные GOE. И в принципе через сравнение индивидуальность каждой фигуристки воспринимается сильнее, говорят же:"всё познаётся в сравнении". Ничего плохого в этом видео нет. Но есть ваш неуместный комментарий.

Her jump combinations are a mess tho .... every single time after the first jump she wobbles and makes edge shifts into the second jump, it's wrong and looks bad. Her elegance and skating overall is beautiful just like anna, but technique wise is just meh, just like anna.

Как- то вы странно сравниваете. У Алёны берёте прокат на Чемпионате России, когда у неё была самая высокая оценка за её карьеру, 89,86 балла. Берите тогда и прокат Камилы, когда и у неё тоже была самая высокая оценка за её карьеру, когда она установила мировой рекорд за короткую программу на чемпионате Европы в Таллине и получила за короткую программу 90,45 балла. А так не честное сравнение.

У Алены оценки выше по ГОЕ, так как у нее выше рейтинг на момент данного проката. А так, у Косторной выше оценки за прыжки, а у Камиллы - за вращения. Смотрятся обе очень красиво - мягкое, летящее скольжение (у Алены чуть более плавное и мощное), элегантные и изящные связки между элементами, четкие шаги.

I love both. Aliona is obviously the better skater but she is also older. Though didn't realize Kamila had better posture than Aliona and projects better because of it. She seems more open. My only issue is that Kamila and Aliona getting near the same points in spins is a travesty. Someone with spins like Kamila (Jason Brown is another) should get some kind of bonus over just a typical "good" spin.

I prefer Alena for most of the things but they’re both really close in my opinion but Aliona is just slightly better. But think about this, KAMILA IS ONLY A JUNIOR!!!!! Kostornaia without a doubt, her 3A is the best in the ladies field (along with the legendary 3A of Ito), better toe pick, better skating skills. The only area that Kamila is better is the spins and the smoothness of her jumps, but she's to robotic, with the expression of a deer in headlights or maybe that's her face expression (like Zagitova or Gold).

Две самых потрясающих фигуристки на современном этапе. Ну не может на дорожке шагов Камила с ее дивными длинными балетными ножками тягаться в ребре с Аленой, которой Бог даровал практически идеальные для фигурки пропорции тела, вот еще бы целеустремленности и настойчивости подкинул, как у Алины, Ани и Камилы :) Ведь только настоящие трудяги становятся Олимпийскими Чемпионами! И да, все-таки мы тут сравниваем девчонок с разницей в возрасте почти в 2 года, а в 14-16 лет это достаточно большая разница.

Kamila step sequences look so effortless and seamless meanwhile Aliona’s looks forced. Not to mention Kamila beautiful leg kicks and extensions! I prefer Kamila’s spins too Honestely team Kamila, much more expressive, better interpretations, and really good technique except 3A which is better in Aliona’s version cause Kamila tends to land on inside edge then shift to outside.

They are both perfect skaters! But I get goosebumps when I see Kamilas spins with hands over head (its just MAGIC!) and she is more silky fluent, like a swan. Alena is energetic and precise, but her movements are a bit sharp, brisk.
