Please note that we purposely don't include any phonetic transliteration or translation of the words in these first lessons, so you can learn more naturally, and so that people from all languages can follow no matter what alphabet they use. After a few more lessons, you will learn the Hebrew alphabet and then everything will be written on the screen in Hebrew. It’s understandable but also impossible for new folks to fully follow. Without context no one can distinguish between such words as yaphe and tov unless they already know. Otherwise they will have to stop and trust a google search and their phonetic replication. All in all these videos are very helpful and we recommend them.

Wonderful! This is how I learned Spanish And French way back in 1981. My teacher was educated by Jesuits in Mexico City. Later as a 15 year old, her father, the US ambassador was moved to the French consulate. There she learned French and German. Her methods were just like yours. It is how my pea brain is wired. It stimulates memory cortex and the photographic area of my brain as I can see every page in that first Spanish book we used exactly 40 years later!!! That alone merits scientific investigation. She did not speak English in class. She said there was plenty time after class to practice English. You guys are re-teaching my mind and my heart to love Language again. I appreciate your kind methods and doing what works to teach people like me who may never have been inspired were it not for people like you and my wonderful teacher in high school. It is amazing what the human mind can learned if challenged so effectively as you two do. You are both lovely people.

I can understand everything in the lesson after viewing it once. I reviewed the lesson immediately. I can hear you speaking the word with my eyes closed and I see the objects together with your voice. Now that I am 55 years old,I may have to repeat the lesson 3 or 4 more time for overkill. If you think you have learned something and you don't remember it a day, a week, a month later, you it did not permanently imprint on the memory cortex. Repetition, repetition, repetition and verbal emphasis is my key to learning. I learned this as quickly as I learned Spanish on that first day of class 40 years ago. Thank you so very much

Really great illustrations, pronunciations and corrections. Thank you very much for taking the time to bless others with knowledge of the Hebrew language. Along side with google as a dictionary this was really easy to understand. Zeh refers to masculine and zot to feminine. Tov meod means very good, yaffe means beautiful or maybe as a way of saying nice 👍🏼. Learning big and small was crucial too and the the word ha means “the” which is why it is used before presenting the animal or person. God bless you two for your hard work in making this happen. Great way of serving the Lord with what you have.
