I am a Japanese senior. I am trying to brush up my Hebrew pronunciation. I really enjoyed your teaching, contents and the way how you teach. It is very clear to see your mouth when I try to figure out either fricative'v' or plosive'b'. Japanese language doesn't have 'v' sound, and we cannot distinguish them only by listening. These free movies are very helpful to serious Japanese students for the Old Testament.

Kind of crazy how much easier it is to teach Hebrew reading and spelling than English... I learned to read Hebrew so long ago that I'd kind of forgotten how easy it is until these videos reminded me.... it's only when they throw out all the vowel markings that it gets really "fun" XD

The resh and dalet are the two letters that are famous in textual criticism for explaning the spelling of the Island of Rhodes in Hebrew with an R and with a D. I give a hoot about how it is spelled because my old synagogue was founded by people who came to Seattle from the Island of Rhodes speaking Ladino (a form of old Spanish).
