Welcome to Coffee Walk Ep. 126!
This week, thanks to my incredible crew, two very special finds made it to the shop that I've been really excited about for quite a while. Check out this 1971 400 4-Speed GTO in Adriatic Blue and 1968 Porsche 911S engine and let me know what y'all think!

I can't understand why there are not more subscribers to this channel. Dennis & his crew always provide some of the most entertaining, engaging & educational content on here. I find myself as interested in the people he meets & talks with & the places where they go to eat as well as the vehicles. Dennis is such font of knowledge, yet he is not arrogant & appears to be kind & considerate to everyone. Dennis is the kind of a person who you wished was your friend. 😎

Dennis, you are one hell of a model American. The only reason I enjoyed watching F&L was when you were in it. And I could tell at times that you didn't enjoy being around Richard. Awesome GTO and an awesome find! At 5:45 Zach ran the camera across the HVAC controls and I saw A/C. Dennis had just a minute prior mentioned how low the production was on a 400 4-speed car in ‘71, so having A/C on top of that made my heart skip a beat. What a car. Some don’t care for the nose on the ‘71-‘72 GTOs, and while it’s not necessarily my favorite I still like them. We all dream of finding stuff like this and it’s great to have this channel to get to share in what Dennis and crew comes up with.

There’s a 70 GTO Judge in my town that’s been sitting under tarps since at least 1988, hasn’t moved since. I asked if it was for sale back then and was told no. I went by a couple months ago and knocked but no answer,the house is a bit run down but I know someone lives there because the truck is gone in the day. Such a waste of a cool car to rot under cover. I own a Fremont, CA built 71 GTO and ran into the very same problem you guys did finding the VIN stamp on the block. As you know, the last six digits of the VIN are normally stamped vertically, parallel with the side of the timing chain cover, way down low on the block. I ended up finding the last six digits of my VIN, stamped on the same surface as the engine unit number and engine code surface, an inch or two below those codes, and very faint. I posted my question on one of the popular online Pontiac forums and was told that the Fremont, CA cars were usually stamped like mine.

I had a 1970 GTO 400 4 barrel blue with blue interior. I remember the sound. I paid 1750 for it in 73. Low mileage.

My mother owns a 1968 911S Targa Softwindow. My dad bought two Porsches from a guy at the Pomona Swap Meet in 1985 and it was one of them. Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!

You probably already know this about the Pontiac engines, but they were somewhat notorious for sheading the timing chain around the 50,000-60,000 mile mark. The cam timing gear was coated with nylon to make it quieter and it would shed the nylon coating causing the timing chain to jump. Great find and video!

In 1992 when I was 14 i bought a 71 gto that was really rare due to the fact it had swivel buckets which I never ever had seen or heard of that option. Anyways I bought the 400 4speed car off a 91 yr old lady for 300 dollars and did work around her house for a summer for the car. It was her son that passed aways car abd he was the original owner but my father caught me driving it and I run out of school and to his shop the next day and my gto was a pile of scrap. My dad cut it up with a torch because I drove it. Mine was gold with black vinyl top and black vinyl swivel buvkets and 3.73s and a m21 4speed. Mine didn't have a wing but it did have a hood tach I still have the tach and the ram air IV air cleaner

Denis, your a walking alminac! I would like to see you find a 62 Catalina w/super duty aluminium sheet metal 8 lug wheels 421 w/)2 4's, 4sp rock crusher trans perferated frame whte exterior, red interior. Even had radio & heater. I have a friend that had a dealer ordered on like this!
