Dennis, love the show and watch every week. Your comment about the 68 Mustangs mostly having 302's (J) codes was partially right. The early 68's were mostly 289's because Ford was getting rid of the 289's leftover from 67. The 68 you purchased is an early 68 with the recessed rear marker lights. The later 68's had what they call the "pin on" rear marker lights. Happy Hunting!

@DennisCollinsCarWorld3 жыл бұрын

@51-FS3 жыл бұрын
So is it safe to use a car cover?
@tnewt71163 жыл бұрын
Cover yourself in plastic and set in the sun see how hot it gets. Leave a tarp over green grass in the summer for a couple days and see how it kills the grass. Best way to cover a vehicle would be a waterproof cloth tarp but built to tent the vehicle not touching it. That is why barn finds are usually pretty clean after the dust is washed off. Otherwise wash and wax your stored car regularly.
@tnewt71163 жыл бұрын
I wish you would sometimes say what you gave for these vehicles. I recently purchased a 1976 V-8 auto CJ-7 barn-find here in Oklahoma. I think it’s pretty clean for sitting since 1996, but it would be nice to compare what you would give for the same jeep or what you thought it was worth. I like your content and information you give in your video’s but knowing what kind of money you’re spending on these projects would help us all know what is obtainable for the common folks who watch these videos. Keep doing what you do and showing us all that there are good projects available to buy out there.
