Here for the live edit video tutorials! Would love to see more! :) could you explain why the use of ellipses is key for copywriting? I'd imagine they'd get redundant after a few uses, no?
@AlexCattoni
@AlexCattoni 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I love using ellipses because they act as a great coherence markers which help keep your readers engaged and reading. But just like anything else - it can be overdone!

@@AlexCattoni Yeah I think that's a prime example of good copywriting vs good writing. Would never write a book that way but if it's for marketing... Use ellipses ;)

I quit my job as a copywriter after 5 weeks. I really hate writing about plastic pipelines or web hosting. So a caution: if you work at an agency, you will have to write about any product, service or idea that is thrown at you. Well paid job, but I couldn't force myself to get excited about these topics. I was miserable. Copywriting could still be something for me, but only in certain niches.
@AlexCattoni
@AlexCattoni 2 жыл бұрын
Totally! Working for agencies is not the best route for everyone. I personally love freelancing because of that very reason - I get to choose my clients!
@PrincessSachiko
@PrincessSachiko 2 жыл бұрын
I'm the exact same way. I'm a freelance copywriter and I'm very careful about choosing my clients, because there are a lot of topics that I wouldn't be so great at writing about because I have zero interest in them. So I hope you keep writing and just try to be selective about who you work for and what you write about. Don't give up on copywriting altogether!

Love your videos and love your channel, it's very insightful ♥️. I have a question since I’m a beginner in copywriting. I will write a email and give it to the client right? What does someone do with an email? And how do they use it? And how do I know if the client wants or even knows what to do with the email? I’m very confused please I enlighten me.

People who have courses or digital products send emails to their clients or potential customers (they mostly have a list or are trying to expand this list) to share their offers/services or sometimes just to give free value like our amazing Alex.
@AlexCattoni
@AlexCattoni 2 жыл бұрын
Great questions! First - your client will tell you want they want for they email (a nurture email, a sales email promoting XYZ, etc.) You would write the email for them, then THEY would load and send it to their list. All you need to worry about is writing the email.
