Most times someone becomes champion they start avoiding fights want to fight less wait as long as possible before defending even sometimes getting a surgery so they are out. Apart from Volk Alex is the only champion that is not only fighting regularly they are jumping in as a late replacement and defending his belt on short notice against top contenders. Alex understands your window of prime performances is a very short window.
