That's why it took so long to get a referendum. We should have had a referendum on the Maastricht treaty that created the European Union and the subsequent treaties that steadily removed our national veto's from different policy areas. But if you wanted such referendums you were either shouted down, belittled or smeared. So this episode reminds me of the not too distant past.

I’ve been in the same situation with work colleagues, some people on the left have become completely transformed and twisted mentally over Brexit, I’ve seen the same insanity on their faces as I saw on Campbell. I believe some of them have developed mental health conditions.
