Alex made his amends, apologized and accepted his mistakes, even if it was not right away. In the end, he was a phenomenal athlete that made a mistake and paid accordingly. Great interview and great conversation!

I believe him. 2014 gave him humility. I think it changed him and as a father of daughters myself- I believe him when he said he never wanted to put himself in a position to have to explain himself to his daughters again. He's great as an analyst and teacher of the game now

Ppl say Ken Griffey Jr had the best swing. But for me Alex holds that crown. Add the high leg kick increased batting average. Lower the kick increased power. It was the best swing ive ever seen.

He and Bonds both talk about how they “swing down.” They don’t drop the back shoulder and it’s the follow-through that (sometimes) lifts the ball in the air. With that technique, it’s either hitting the warning track or going over it. So much power in a compact swing. It’s not the frickin steroids, it’s TALENT!

From looking at this high school video, he was a freak of an athlete. Rumor has it he gained about 30 pounds of muscle from sophomore to junior year of high school and gained enormous power to become a power hitter. In other words, he has been juicing since high school.

Listen to what he said...........he was injured and was trying to come back. I don't fault guys for taking roids to heal from injury over the course of a 162 game season. People miss the point of these guys taking roids, for most of them, it wasn't about gaining an advantage, it was about getting or staying healthy enough to play. With that being said, Sammy, Mark, especially Jose and Barry, I think more then likely it was done to gain an advantage though.

Too bad about the steroid era. ARod & Clemens should be in Cooperstown. Met him in person . He was cool. Watched him with the Yankees. 1 World Series in 2009 performance.
