I know someone who grew playing with A-Rod in Miami and he said, from a young age you can tell he was special!
@KHallesy5 күн бұрын
So you do not think he was only special because of steroids. I watched him in Seattle and he seemed amazing. But I figured his entire career was only made by taking steroids. I was wondering if he could even play without them. When you have been caught 3 times cheating the game it does not make you baseball great it makes your entire career a cheat and he should be returning the money and making amends!

A-Rod neglected to mention that he also received the advice to take the 200-plus game suspension from MLB from his first MLB Manager ever, the great Lou Piniella. By the way, Mr. Piniella should have gotten the ONE MORE VOTE necessary to be inducted into Cooperstown/ Baseball Hall Of Fame this Summer! Shame on Alex Rodriguez AND The Veterans Committee for Cooperstown!

At one time the Mariners had 3 of the greatest players of all time on their team, A. Rod, Griffrey Jr. and Randy Johnson. Yet none of them were still there when 2001 Mariners had one of the best seasons in baseball history. Imagine if they still had those 3 guys.

At the time with your father in Minnesota you said you had closure with him, so that's it. No need feeling guilty about it. If he had died the next day, you would've had no regrets. You shouldn't have any regrets now. You did what you could do. Your father was probably happy in Minnesota as well. i found out with my own Dad that you can only talk so much, then you both have to move on.

From looking at this high school video, he was a freak of an athlete. Rumor has it he gained about 30 pounds of muscle from sophomore to junior year of high school and gained enormous power to become a power hitter. In other words, he has been juicing since high school.

But neither Bonds nor Clemens popped during their careers, yet David Ortiz made it in his first go around (he was on the 03 list and be honest with yourself. There was a year near the end he was washed up and he came back hitting 400 foot bombs to the opposite field). Once Ortiz made it in first try, the hall was tainted, so all three belong in.
@dbreiden830805 ай бұрын
They forever destroyed the record books and basically rendered them worthless. They are out of the Hall of Fame for good reason. People didn’t think what Barry Bonds was doing was humanly possible. It wasn’t. He was cheating his ass off.

19:45 Why do they(Buck & Rodriguez) both insist on shaving a year from his age? He turned *21* (completed 21 full years) in July of 1996..I mean, it's still great but he was nearly 4 months into his 22 year on earth by the end of the 1996 season when the "MVP" voting took place.

@silentcapture19944 ай бұрын
Listen to what he said...........he was injured and was trying to come back. I don't fault guys for taking roids to heal from injury over the course of a 162 game season. People miss the point of these guys taking roids, for most of them, it wasn't about gaining an advantage, it was about getting or staying healthy enough to play. With that being said, Sammy, Mark, especially Jose and Barry, I think more then likely it was done to gain an advantage though.
