Alex was like family to me. My wife and I watched his first episode of Jeopardy on our honeymoon in 1984. And it has remained a steadfast part of our daily routine to this day. Our kids grew up dancing to the theme song as toddlers and now watch the show in their own homes. Alex was so much more than an entertaining host. He was a truly good and caring man - a real inspiration.

Though I had never met Alex I've watched jeapordy for so long I feel like I knew the man. He was the epitome of a gentle man, a good man and an overall wonderful being. The show will not be the same without him. May the Lord comfort his family in their time of grief. I will miss him.

Alex trebek's interview impact was everywhere even in jail we always watched the show, unbelievable many people turned out and watched behind the walls. There was a guy that answered nearly every question, I asked him why you here you very intelligent? he answered doing drugs. I told him you better stop, he called me he's out and he's clean now. Jeopardy with Alex Trebek was my mom's favourite show for many years. She watched every night until passing away earlier this year from Covid. Alex was a wonderful man who was bigger than the Show and who brought joy to millions of people. His legacy will live on for many years. Condolences to Alex's entire family.

Afraid that only we Canadians can tell the difference. Out there in the world, North America is seen as a single entity, not two separate cultures.
