​@ikon4255 not recording so much, it's the quite round baseball necks on the pbass. Alex even said it was quite an awakening when he got his next bass around the tomb of mutilated sessions the ibanez saber, which weighed a total of 4 pounds and had a very thin neck. Basically playing cannibal corpse on bass hard, playing it with fingers harder still and playing it on a precision bass would make the stretches and parts quite challenging to play. But Alex's technique even back then was second to none, with the three finger plucking and the economy of motion.
