Yep, this is the 12" vinyl version that was a UK club anthem in the day. I've seen him live so many times and was priviliged to be there during the first UK tour in 1983. Best track he ever did as far as I'm concerned. Another Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis production - say no more!

For the record, Alex told a bold face lie on Prince and was never hired as the lead singer of The Time cuz Alex wanted MORE PAPER. Morris, Jam & Lewis cleared up the whole story in the Original 7ven documentary. Regardless, I like the production and I just grabbed this 12" at the Goodwill for a buck and 7 pennies.
