And now he just won an Emmy for BIG LITTLE LIES! I had almost forgotten about him after True Blood ended and he did a string of forgettable Indie movies but BIG LITTLE LIES proved he isn't just a hunk who got lucky. It's a big year for Alex and his kid brother Bill who hit it big with IT the surprise hit of the 2017 late summer/fall season.

Saw him at a soccer game in Sweden. He is NOT this hot (im a straight guy but he is smoking in interviews and on TV ;) when he is screaming profanities to the referee, drunk as a skunk. Something that makes you like him even more!
