One comment on changing meta for my boy rasta. People recommend maxing shackles in the mid-game rather than hex these days. Due to early shard and solo kill potential.
@AlexanderCoccia2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!! And I thought about adjusting the Rasta guide a bit but decided to keep it like this. You're right tho, especially now with the healing changes. Taking Shackles is a good choice as well.

@Blacknarock Жыл бұрын
I came from Dota 1. That's where I started. Most of them are the same heroes more or less. Some have different skills but I don't mind since that makes them viable in the meta. We actually have a Dota 1 map that copies items from Dota 2 including the talent tree the thing I think is the most useful thing ever invented in Dota. I'm more into support. I don't like to carry. Most of intelligence heroes I like and IO. But since I'm a beginner I can't play him He is locked. Thx for the video man. Rly helps since I'm not used to Dota 2. Is good that Dota 1 concept didn't die instead moved on and improved.

Don't mistake someone new to Dota with someone without mechanical skill. A lot of players come from League and are very mechanically talented. Also I do mention in the video if a hero is more on the complex side, but people want an option to test themselves
@AlexanderCoccia2 жыл бұрын
Sand King is similar... he's got some mechanical complexity to him but for someone experienced in MOBAs who wants something more challenging in the role, he's a great choice.
@yellowscarlightningscream83472 жыл бұрын
@@AlexanderCoccia I get your point. But these players get flamed the most from their own teammates as these heroes are high risk and high reward. Chances of bad positioning and miscast of spells is very high
@AlexanderCoccia2 жыл бұрын
Yeah you're right. Kind of unfortunate that things can get toxic when someone is trying to learn in bot games and in unranked. I wish that wasn't the case, because more people playing Dota is simply the best thing for the game long term, and toxicity really impacts the new player experience

primal beast is most definetly not a beginner hero if you actually wanna play him properly
@AlexanderCoccia2 жыл бұрын
Why not? He's top tier right now and once you fundamentally understand his combos you're golden. He doesn't require intense mechanics, nor does he require an in-depth knowledge of the other heroes of Dota. Why the hell wouldn't a new player give him a shot?
@MS-qu4ge2 жыл бұрын
@@AlexanderCoccia because he relies very heavily on timing and his proper combos aren't easy enough to execute, we're talking NEW players here who are already overwhlemed by everything else going on in a very unforgiving noob unfriendly game also if you choke even 1 of his spells or misuse blink you're practically worthless in a teamfight since none of your spells do anything to spell immunity and you have to either ignore bkbs or catch someone before they pop it, just compare the gameplan and execution of underlord which was a great example and primal beast who doesn't flash farm, relies on his team and can really only solo kill heroes very early on and that's when you need to execute his combos perfectly unless you're playing into a free lane or someone really bad
@AlexanderCoccia2 жыл бұрын
You make a lot of solid points honestly. You're right, he's super easy to disrupt and Dota is hard enough to learn lol. With that being said, I think he's a blast to play and worth learning. Also don't forget, a lot of new players might not know Dota itself, but may come from other MOBAs like League so they know how to press buttons :D
@AlexanderCoccia2 жыл бұрын
He can flash farm though! Not quite like Underlord but he can farm more than people give him credit for!
@MS-qu4ge2 жыл бұрын
@@AlexanderCoccia oh i agree he's an absolute blast to play and w is decent for farming but it's not on the lowest cd and in low elo and this is just my suggestion for every new/low ranked player just hit creeps, get money it's that simple in lower mmr games people have terrible macro anyway as long as you're up in gold you're generally gonna win more than half your games and that's all you need

Lol I've been playing since 2012 and I'll go 0-10 sometimes lol! Just keep at it, you'll start winning!!
Interesting talking about heroes for new players and using lingo that new players dont have a clue about. Like you said something about medusa being able to do mid lane but that would be greedy. What does that even mean? Farming small camp? What is that? Lots and lots of talk about the different lanes that a player that don't already have a favorite hero have no clue about. Mentioning bkb, casually, as if thats common knowledge for new players. Yeah... Good guide but not sure who you really are trying to talk to.
