I don’t blame any parent for wanting the best for their kids-which private school inevitably guarantee because they have more resources and take on pupils whose parents have more resources to strengthen their development outside of school-but private schools are morally unconscionable for any society that values equality of opportunity.

If everyone went to private school we would be on an equal playing field. Private schools will always have better teachers, books and education facilities than lower-income schools.

Private schools, forever keeping the divide between rich and poor in existance. Disgusting. Would love to see some private school kids in my old grammar school. They'd be torn to shreds. If public school gives you anything, it's the ability to look after yourself and survive.
