She chose her wedding date because that was the anniversary of their first date. They got married in the park on the first anniversary of their first date during Covid Then had their "big wedding" on the second anniversary of their first date a year later. My guess would be that Alex had been planning that "wedding on first anniversary of first date" since she was a child, she was dead set on it. Started dating in June, he was moved in by Sept, staged engagement in Feb, Covid wedding in June..."big" backyard wedding the next June. Gaining weight every step of the way, both wedding gowns were size 30 if I remember right. Remember when She "surprised" Yar by getting that cringey prison tatt of her wedding date in Roman numerals? She said Yar was getting one too...then he didn't. Ouch.

Priscilla, we are always on the same wave length. I felt the same about the flowers, the gown, all of it. I also loved her first house and back yard. In my opinion, she has made one bad decision after another since she started dating Yar. Do you think his suit was ill-fitting? I think he should have sized up. I think they both appear to be miserably unhappy for at least two years.

I have watched the wedding before and always wondered why she did not have her friends Alexis and Abby helping her out too. I thought they did not even attend until I saw them rewatching it in this react. It seems obvious that there was a shift in their friendships even then, I mean they did not even say any speeches it seems like but these were her friends when she was going through the bad break up with Alan, I am sure they were there for when she met Yar. I wonder where they fell off. It is quite sad to lose all your friends and be 30 and alone in big house in a loveless marriage.

I get emotional because I didn’t lose weight for my wedding, but the photos spurred it on for me. Since then I’m down four sizes and have had a breast reduction. It’s been like ten years. For someone who does this for a living this was so chaotic. She definitely should have hired a videographer and planner. If you know youre a person who sweats easily pick a cooler month, wear sleeves or something that flatters you not points out every flaw and the hair up didnt help. The set up was really pretty and overall other than the fake flowers I think it came out fairly well. However if my child had been at this event I would never have spoken to her again if I found out afterwards. Idc how close you are that warrants a fing conversation, do a childless wedding for Gods sake!
