As a groomer Assistant I'm telling you that you do a really good job at everything you do and once a month is perfect I've seen people bathe there poms and other double coated pets 2-3 times a week and they wonder why there dogs skin is red and dry. honestly you are so good at what you do that if I didn't see this video I would've thought you took her to a salon she looked fantastic DIY style Is the way to do it :)

Not hate, I love you and daisy so much, and I can relate cause I have a Pom, but please be careful. When she was in the bath tub, you kept holding her legs when she stood up on the side. Pomeranians legs are so fragile, it could have bent the wrong way. I never want daisy to get hurt! Much love, Maddy.

I work at a grooming store and I watch the groomers all the time. You did a really good job! I would recommend some good thinning shears if you want to soften any marks from the scissors. But other than that it was good!

I'm not sure if she will answer but I have a pom of my own so I hope this helps. Sometimes it depends on the dog you end up with. Some are very shy and some are more outgoing and friendly and sometimes they are aggressive but normally aren't unless they feel the need to protect their owner. My dog is very shy around new people outside of the house but when some one new comes into the house she will bark and bark until she feels comfortable that the person isn't there to harm us but she never bites unless it is play biting (Some dogs may try to bite). My dog only barked a lot when she was a puppy and left alone. I would say that poms tend to get separation anxiety more then other dogs that I have had so he or she might bark when you aren't around like if you put them in a cage to sleep at night or a pen when you aren't home. That's what we did with my pom until she got older but eventually she stopped barking. I hope that helped a little. I know it was long and I cant speak for all poms but this is just my experience!

Uhhhhhh...not to rain on your parade but Pomeranians don’t care about chandeliers, decorations or ornaments lol.😂 She’s a beautiful Pomeranian, do you play with her a lot? What poms love more than ANYTHING is for their humans to play with them DAILY and take them for walks! I bathe my Pom too, but never more than 3 times a month at most (usually once or twice) because don’t want them to lose their natural oils too much. He’s all black with a little white on his face and he’s my best friend in the whole world. I love him so much. He’s actually cuddling with me getting belly rubs as I watch this.

I know I'm a bit late to this party, but a tip I use when I trim my two poms - if you get a pair of layering/feathering scissors, after you've made your initial cuts with the regular scissors, go back over them with the layering scissors. It makes the transition/edges of the cuts look more natural and makes their coat edges flow into each other more naturally :) Daisy is adorable, I wish my two were that well behaved during bath time! 😂

I came to the internet to find out how to lightly scissors-trim the back of my Mittel Spitz's legs just so he doesn't get poop on that hair, and I swear I went through 15 different videos of people (supposedly professionals even??) shaving and clippering their Poms or trimming them so close all over with scissors that they look like a chihuahua. FINALLY I found your video where you PROPERLY groom your Pom! AND you showed me exactly what I needed to know with the hind leg scissors-trimming. Hi you did a better job tha I would with the haircut! I think you should use different scissors to cut into the fur tho. Also Pomeranians should be brushed from back to front to make themm extra fluffy! That s how they do on Shows and competitions :)
