Yeah, this is a weird ranking system. Talks about being faithful to the comics and proceeds to rank Japanese Spiderman as number 1 (I'm not hating on the show but that has got to be the most unfaithful to the source material though they did intend it that way). And wait, Japanese Spiderman isn't even a movie, it's a TV show-he just picked an episode of that. I don't know if that counts. And by the way, it's not about making fantasy movies "realistic", it's about making them as honest as possible (verisimilitude as what Richard Donner called it). Believing in the approach, the world being built, and the rules that go along with it. I can't believe Blade ranked lower than the Reb Brown Captain America movies. To each his own, I guess.

The Spider-Man "films" were episode compilationsshown in movie theaters overseas (along with The Incredible Hulk). According to Reb Brown, CBS picked up Captain America for a six episode season. It was to crossover with both Spider-Man and Hulk shows somehow. CBS decided to cancel all of the superhero shows (except for the Hulk). Even thecSpidey and Hulk shows were supposed to crossover while both shows were on (another opportunity came up later but fell through thanks to Universal Studios coqk blocking because they weren't allowed the level of control that they wanted). It is saud tgat we would've seen a version of the black and white costume.

If you did this type of video with DC movies before 2000 it might be bland because most of them are the four Batman movies that have been video review to death but pre 2000s has a lot of weird serials and short films. Maybe movies before 2010s so you can review more interesting stuff like Constantine, Watchman and Catwoman. Anyway great video, I subbed.

I've never watched a 40 minute video from a channel I've never herd of. I like it.

@@Isaacisaperson4677its not that bad its just supposed to be a 2000s comedy not a big budget mcu film where if they do one thing wrong the entire universe dies with you needing to watch 10 movies to understand it

THE SOUND OF MUSIC tie-ins - two of the Von Trapp siblings played leads in the following: Nicholas Hammond as Peter Parker/Spiderman, and Heather Menzies as the love interest in the TV Captain America film (i.e. NOT the Cannon Films' CAPTAIN AMERICA film).

I'm going to be honest when I was mindlessly scrolling a few days ago to add things to my watch later playlist, I could've sworn I read this video had 1M views. When I finally got around to watching it just now, imagine my shock about halfway through the video when I realized what the view count was actually at! I was more than convinced I was watching a video deserving of 1M+ views. You make knock-out videos that go well beyond the accepted standard for most media review and commentary on youtube. Your efforts are realized and appreciated by me, and I hope you get some more subscribership soon, as you've proven to be a consistently great content creator that is worth subscribing to. Also I don't think you could've done a better line read at 7:52 I had far too long of a laugh at this guys old gum head.
