Unattractive men might make less money (i dont even agree really but lets assume its true) but that doesn't mean unattractive men can't make more money than basically everyone if they want to. Perhaps on average you make more money if you are attractive versus not, all other things being equal. But lets be real, that's not how real life works. It's never "all other things being equal". There are many, many unattractive people in business. You know why? They worry about business stuff. Not how clean their beard is shaven, if their belt matches their shoes, etc... They are busy learning and creating and building relationships with people who can make them money. Sure, look your best, but don't spend an inordinate amount of time and energy on it. No one cares as long as your breath doesn't knock them off their chair and you don't look completely moronic. Shirt, jeans, decent shoes, move on with something actually useful. Personally I see a man who is extremely well groomed and I think he's soft and vain. I'd be LESS likely to want to work with him.
