Yes Djokovic is now 37 and age is always a factor BUT make no mistake about this. Popyrin played his best ever tennis to beat Djokovic here. No fluke. Some incredible defense and offense combo.

Djokovic didn't prepare well, hasn't played a single match on hard courts prior to US Open, obviously he doesn't care that much, these days his "strategy" has been, the less hard work the better at the same time hoping to take as much as possible in terms of results.
