It's not boring At all! Just loved that. I'm an avid bike fan. Often say I grew up on a bike. My dad was a champ cyclist in Yorkshire. Here I am in a northern sub' of Toronto right now. You just might get me on the bike again .....maybe doing a podcast! Love darling Russell. Yes! I was at that cafe, when I made a whirlwind visit to London, after deciding to see the capital, for first time since I was a kid. I just wanted to go wherever I wished. I wanted to see the EastEnd and so I walked all about. It was fun and great exercise! A Spent a lovely afternoon with the kids at the New Era cafe, and I met and got chatting with a lass who had a bit part in an Episode of EastEnder! She's a big deal in the denim couture business now, I believe. How exciting is life, when you are open to travel and meeting complete strangers and enjoying them. It's my thing. So, yep thanks for the video. Loved it Alexei xxxooo.

Glad to see you back on your bike - I bumped into you a couple of years ago on Grays Inn Road - you were walking and I was on my bike and I asked you where your bike was - you were very sociable. I'm a man of similar age and look and I've cycled these roads for over a decade.

I listened with the CC on and the subtitles are utterly hilarious. I guess the person subtitling doesn't understand Alexei's Scouse accent or knows London at all. Exmouth Market was "Eczema Market", Anglo-Saxon car park was "Then go suction" car park, and Pret A Manger was "press emoji". I may watch all the vids again with the CC on to see how bad they are.

It would be a good sight gag if at the end of a bike ride, Alexei turned a bend and - - "Bloodyell! It's Huskisson Street!" he's back in Liverpool. It would mean location filming just for one brief ending....but Alexei could turn it into a cliffhanger. The next bike ride follows Alexei Sayle's rediscovery of Liverpool, trying to find recognition points in a city that has eradicated even Beatles historic sites in order to erect Beatle memorials. Bloodyell! It's Huskisson Street! Hiya, Beryl! And so on.

Under those streets there is a long disused postal undergound railway from Mount Pleasant sorting office (formerly). It ran down the back of a printers I worked in for a few years, and though not in use by then that part of the building looked like an abandoned train platform. I think it's been converted into a tourist line for tiny people now. All Aboard - Mind The Plague Pits!

We must have been neighbours for a few years. I lived round there 1978-2003, but unlike someone else below never saw you in Grays Inn Road. Do you remember the Welsh shop? (Not quite, but nearly, opposite the London Welsh Centre -just the other side of the Calthorpe Street junction, which you said was always being dug up). Very nice people. And the Connolly Association bookshop a couple of doors away?
