Totally agree on the background music. I'm going to upload this again without the background music and remove background music on future videos. No need for it when it's an informative talking head type video. Thank you for the feedback. I had not paid much attention to this. I usually edit, upload and never watch again. I'm not a fan of watching the videos once I upload them.

Glad it was helpful, don't get me wrong, it can get really crowded and congested but the key is to be off as early as possible. If the line for the tram is long, be patient or like I said, take a water taxi over to Oia. That can be a good alternative if the line seems overwhelming.

Helpful video! We are travel in late June. Cruise Mapper shows 4 cruise lines on the day we will be at Santorini. Is there a chance that more cruises will be added to that day?

I doubt there will be more than what is planned. We were ready to disembark about 30 minutes prior to the first disembarkation time. So we were up early and ready to go and as soon as we got our water taxi tickets we went directly to the meeting point. Every ship and cruise line will do things a little differently so make sure you are on top of their procedures.

Depends on what you are comfortable with. I think we have them 15% but I don't recall. Whatever we have we should have given more because we had such a great day.

Tipping is for yanks only, if you think you should never tip more than 10% in Europe.

In September 2024 we couldn’t get out from our ship. Local authority just slow down the amount of tender boats to limit the amount of tourists. So if you see many cruise ships at Santorini, probably will be very hard to come out of boat.

When you can't get off the ship that's usually because of weather conditions. Local authorities might be involved but the captain will make the final decision. Local authorities want passengers off the ship spending money.

Best tip is avoid Santorini and Mykonos. They were beautiful in the mid 1970s, now they've lost their original charm and authenticity and are just overrated tourist traps.
