@@JohnWarren Well he is in one of the top 2 teams, it would be embarrassing if he isn't fighting for the WDC. Throughout the history of F1, usually 2 to 3 teams fight for 1st place. Previous WDC winners can't fight for the win when they are not in a good team anymore.

Actually if you just keep racing and up your irating you will come across them pretty often. I've raced against a couple of them now just because I had a decent irating (around 4.5K). And there are a lot of irl racers on iracing, not just from F1, DTM as well (daniel juncadella for example) VLN drivers as well who you'll see on the nordschleife a lot and in those events. Just practice and I'm sure you'll come across them on the regular :D You got this man :D

I'm about 16 months into Iracing, and the F Vee races are my bread and butter. A grouping like this 6:24 would never make it past the first corner on the 2nd lap in my experience. But my ir might be a bit lower than Max, so I would not be racing with that calibre of competitor. My wait-for-it while behind the pack racing style probably wouldn't work here.

This is one reason why I love IRacing. You never know when you may come across someone from the big-time world racing in a sim race. Been in a few lobbies with Max with GT3s and NASCAR Trucks. As for Formula Vees... I really wish IRacing would make a class for C-class drivers and higher with races. I really think they would be really popular to race. Sort of like the MX5 series in Iracing.
