It's funny the stereotypes people make of all other types of people. I myself in a young Conservative Christian. No drugs I rarely drink I have never been drunk in my life I have never smoked pot. Go to church every Sunday. I have no tattoos, I'm very much a homebody don't like large crowds and would rather spend the evening at my house wrestling with my kids or playing video games. But heavy metal is my favorite genre of music. Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, tool, Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment. I also love a variety of music. John Denver, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis jr., Hank Williams Senior, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, all mixed in with my Disturbed, Seether and Metallica. Heavy metal is a major Outlet and definitely helps to control and regulate your emotions. Plus it is one of I feel only two genres of music today that has songs with actual meaning. Pop and country music today is generic canned crap made for the masses. only metal and a small section of Hip Hop are making any music that has any meaning or message. Long live metal

You and I are birds of a feather, man. Overall I have an extremely wide range of musical taste, so much so it would be easier to list the music I DON'T like. But if someone asks me what my main purpose is in life I would say, "To love and be loved."

We're a lot alike man how awesome! Same, I'm 26, conservative and Christian, go to church every Sunday. Most of the time many of them are enthusiastic, but after the song say stuff as it being aggressive and unsuitable to let kids hear and stuff like that. The guy on the solid black, he gets a free drink for his appreciation of metal if ever our paths shall cross! i've seen a few other Elders React to vids and he is obviously a metalhead of old. Probably drinks for the dude in the blue shirt and Indy hat too, as he seems have a metal soul as well.
