Fun fact: the only stipulation Ryan Reynolds had for his cameo in this film was the same length as Brad Pitt’s cameo in Deadpool 2. Both films were directed by David Leitch. Looking at a map the stops, the bullet train does take the coast and not the straightest of lines, but a truck would be very hard pressed to make it from Tokyo to Kyoto. It would have to probably take E20, but another problem is there is a giant series of mountains in the way. There are no roads through them so the truck wouldn't be able to go straight there either without a large detour. It was certainly the same truck company and product, but not the exact same truck. Knowledge ruins all fun sadly.
