Thanks to my daughter, she and I cosplay as Barf and Dark Helmet!! I make a pretty good Barf, and she is the perfect size for Dark Helmet!! In 2019, when pulling her helmet out of storage, it fell and cracked....she was heartbroken...until I looked at it closer and told her I had an idea! We used small strips of duct tape to put like X patches over the cracks, she took her glasses and broke one side like his were in the Ludacris scene...and then we took a silver sharpie and wrote "LUDACRIS SPEED SUCKS!!!" On the back of the helmet! Everyone got a great kick out of that. We had pictures with the cast of Weird Science (I know you probably haven't seen it, but it is a MUST watch!!!) Anthony Michael Hall pointed out the writing on the back of her helmet and had to take a moment, they were all laughing SOOO hard!!

I would absolutely recommend checking out the other movies too. Also, couple of fun facts: -The dilophosaurus in this movie is very inaccurate! They didn't really have head frills or spit poison, and they were also much bigger. -The "velociraptors" in this movie are not actually velociraptors. They're a dinosaur called Deinonycus. The reason they're called velociraptors in the movie is because the author of the novel this movie is based on thought that "velociraptor" sounded cooler. I'd recommend checking out some videos by "Clint's Reptiles" here on YT for some more in-depth info on dinosaurs and how the Jurassic Park franchise got some things wrong. Clint is a zoologist, and his videos on dinosaurs really commonly make reference to Jurassic Park.

The drawer in which they are stored it's made to keep their batteries working just in case their batteries get depleted and you have to spend a while moving your wrists to reactivate it.
