I used to get agitated at the sound of a car horn, I no longer do after learning that over my lifetime I will hear 1000 more. I guess like you said, my expectations are on par to reality. I was walking in Aspen with my sister when a car honked at the driver in front she must of had expected a serene walk and was up in arms. Crazy to see our reactions to the same event

Alex, you're a good guy, and so glad I found your channel. Your vlogs a fresh and original, quite helpful business and careerwise. However, don't agree with your philosophy on our ultimate destination. There is life beyond death and what we do here matters. This life is merely the anvil on which character is formed...character is the one thing that we take with us and that endures. So no, we don't all dissolve into a fine mist. Thank you for sharing your insights and I wish you peace and continued prosperity. Knock and it shall be opened, seek and you will find. God bless 🙏

I think the value of looking at the worst case is reducing stress about it, not being as worried about, freeing up mental space to tackle the problem. In other words, have lower expectations in the sense that one won't be as negatively disturbed and distracted, so one has the mental capacity to search for improvements in that moment when the problem is freshest in one's mind.
