Children Of Bodom are my favorite band of all time, and Alexi is one of my all-time guitar heroes. I miss him a lot, he had SO MUCH MORE music to make. I know I'm 2 years late but thanks for reacting to this.

Alexi was truly legendary. I didn't discover CoB until the time of his death and feel a great shame. Why couldn't this band have entered my life while the man was still healthy?! Immediately became one of my favorite metal bands...

I was lucky to see Bodom twice in the UK, followed them since early 2000's. How does it make me feel to watch them now....... I get a lump in my throat and feel tearful just because Allu is irreplaceable. RIP metal God...!!!

I’ve got so much respect for this man. The day his death was announced was so, so so sad. I saw CoB live a few times, but never up close. In Finland they used to play every other festival and they were just always there. I knew them and their music, but it wasn’t my go to thing. And now I just wish I’d paid more attention, pushed into front row and shown him the respect back then that he commands. Hindsight is 20/20.

First before he passed away , COB always made me relaxed! I played guitar myself for 12 years i played cob and nightwish and Arch enemy and Kamelot and after forever , I love them since i was 16! So sad he isn’t here anymore!🤍😢 But its so good we have his music still! And never forget Alexi! 🤍🇫🇮🤘🏻

He was a master of guitar always thourght most of this was spread between the two guitarists new insight of him shredding this and he would have lead locals aswell. Glad i got to see them perform this before he past away.
