The movie was only based on the Vanity Fair article.. sadly not the people themselves, or anything else. It's all veeery dramatic due to it being a media write-up (around 3 pages or something). Would've loved it if they had more reality in the film.

She was not. Even Nick Prugo said she was only involved in one. The true story which she did not say here, was that she was high on heroin and drunk when this happened. She was following her friends around not realizing they were robbing houses. When she found out what they did she called the police and reported them. When the police showed up to her house she thought it was because she made a report stating she witnessed a robbery, but it was to arrest her.

She went to a celebs house she knew wasn’t any of her friends homes..you mean to tell me she never heard her friends say they were in Orlando Blooms house the whole time?? Okay she was under the influence..maybe she didn’t hear idk but I think she had more of a role in the robbery than just being an ignorant friend. In all honesty we’ll never know the truth. Thank God she’s changed her life and became a better person and woman.

If she had been wrongfully accused of crimes she didn't commit she would probably be leaning forward while protesting her innocence. Wouldn't you be at least a bit agitated if you had been wrongfully imprisoned?

"Foolproof," eh? I took a class last term titled Psychology and the Law and you'd be surprised by the number of people that are falsely accused by "good body language readers." It's next to impossible to "just tell," because fidgeting and avoiding eye contact are often indicators of general nervousness, and not necessarily guilt. Polygraph tests are EXTREMELY inaccurate, and the results from such tests are very rarely admitted as evidence into trials. Again, their results often show nerves.

Her story could be true, but she is seen on video helping them carry the items from the house.... So even if she did think they were breaking into someone's house to "steal back" clothes that were borrowed and never returned, to me that's a little more than "witnessing a crime." Also, that in itself is a crime... when you see a crime and don't report it, you become an accessory and can also be charged with hindering an investigating ...

No one has the right to judge her. Her side of the story is pretty credible. Come on, does anyone remember those two girls who got stuck in prison for life because of that airport drug thing? These things happen. There's no way to know what really happened. But the evidence is she didn't know these people until like she said April. They had been doing it way before April. She only knew ONE person. I believe her, too.

Eye contact has nothing to do with lying! But looking to the right if you are right handed or to the left if left handed can indicate lies along with shaking your head opposite of what you are saying! Her family was on a reality TV show called Pretty Wild, and then obsessed with perpetuation her fame she was involved in a series of celebrity home robberies known as the Bling Ring or Hollywood Hills Burglary Bunch. They stole around $3 million dollars in items from multiple celebrities including Lohan herself. She was caught and imprisoned, which is why she ended up in jail at the same time as Lohan. There's a movie coming out about it called The Bling Ring; she's played by Emma Watson.

They don't bother charging you with those if you're charged with more severe crimes (like in this case). Also, what about the purses and jewelry that was recovered from her house? Even if she didn't steal it... that's accepting stolen property. Also, her sister was a paid consultant of the bling ring movie so some of that must be true to a degree. I agree she only was a part of it at the end but she definitely helped rob Orlando Bloom's and definitely had other celeb's propety @ her house.
