Hotels have always bored me , except maybe the Du Cap in Antibes . This line always made me laugh as a kid and allowed my family to make a pretty penny , since we used to run the Cap-Eden-Roc . We had the pleasure of accommodating Mrs Joan Collins on several occasions and she was just like Alexis. And, by that, i mean a strong woman with a lot of personality and a great sense of style and humour . She was quite impressed by our hotel pool, the only one in the world in these days to have been carved out of solid rock using dynamite . That made her laugh a lot.

One of the reasons why I love the show and the character. The main characters were older, not 20 or 30 year old snots who were in bad need of a good spanking. That kind of snarkiness and wisdom only comes with age. the young should cherish their bodies, but they do not last. Strong and resilient brains do...and body does not equate to brains. Never has...never will. Don't bash women over 40. and especially over 50.
