it's that when you put the frogs in warm water and slowly bowl, they don't notice the change in temperature because it's gradual.... i.e. they don't perceive the beginning and 'end' temperature, they only become accustomed to the discrete increases and can't save themselves. i had never thought the song was about being stuck in a job though, that's cool.

Right, just to clear this up for everyone.... The title, "Boiled Frogs" comes fro ma popular misconception that, if you throw a frod in boiling water, it jumps out, but if you leave it in warm water and turn up the heat, then it just lays there until it dies. The song was written by George when he found out the fridge company his dad had worked in for the last 40 or so years, was trying to find way to sack him, so they didn't have to pay his pension. and the two just connect, I guess

No. Boiled frogs refers to being stuck in a job where, even if you don't like it, after long enough you'll live with it. Boiled frogs originally comes from actually boiling frogs...apparently if you just throw a live frog into a pot of boiling water, he will jump out. But if you put him in warm water and then slowly bring up the heat...he will actually die in there, or something like that.

@madmike1 It's just hardcore punk music. I don't think they were inspired by each other, they both just play a relatively similar genre with similar song characteristics. Fast tempo, aggressive vocal styling, etc.
