This was the sound they had on their first two albums: Sounding The Seventh Trumpets (2001) and Waking The Fallen (2003). From there they changed and make the type of music that you have liked so much until now.

Thats M Shadows original vocal range. What happened if I'm not mistaken. Is that he had problems with his throat and because of this he changed his style. and the following albums the voice you hear is what you are used to. but I think it was an improvement, although from time to time he makes use of it with certain songs like CHAPTER FOUR and SECOND HEARTBEAT.

This song is really a defining line between Avenged's older stuff and the change they made to City of Evil. Fans that lives songs like this one were furious with city of evil and their later stuff, fans that loved part 1 of this song Loved their newer stuff. I'm glad you were honest!! :) I think you'd dislike a lot of their earlier stuff bases on this, and that's okay!! They've got a big catalog of amazing music :)

I won't see you tonight part 1 is a point of view by a person with depression and part 2 is who was affected by the death of the person in the part 1, this happened to me.. and I can say is just like this in real life, my best friend died with suicied and later i was just beggin to die to stay in the same place he was.

I understand that you don't like the sound of the song and that's completely fine. But i will disagree about the lyrics! The song is about their old friend justin sane who was member of the band and they kicked him out because he attempted suicide but the singer found him before it was too late. Part1 is the perspective of justin part 2 is the perspective of the other members. Both are very emotional but they express it in a different way. Not hating of course just giving you some information you may find interesting. I enjoy your videos.

Yea i understand you! Im a huge fan of Avenged Sevenfold and when i met them i was totally connected with their ballads and just hated songs like this (from the 1st and 2nd albums), but now im starting to like their old songs so much, i prefer their mellow songs and you are right man! I reconmend you Crossroads, The Wicked End, Gunslinger, Fermi Paradox, Creating God, The Fight and Dancing Dead!
