I know that Matt and The Rev was able to play the piano. Everything you hear is made from actual instruments, they hire people to play strings and stuff. Avenged Sevenfold doesn’t use “artificial” Music, they make everything from real instruments!

Yes it’s a 2 parter, it’s about the bands former bassist Justin Sane who attempted suicide, the whole 2 part concept is actually inspired by Pantera’s Suicide Note Pt 1 and 2, Part 1 is softer and mellower musically, and lyrically it’s from the perspective of the person committing suicide, Part 2 is more aggressive and heavier musically, and lyrically it’s from the perspective of the singer M Shadows. Some pretty heavy subject matter.

How the hell have you never heard this? My biggest criticism of reactors is they listen to 1 or 2 songs off an album and move on. Listen to the god damn album. All of it

wrong. a7x is objectively a great band, and very forward pushing ever-changing band, not to mention stellar individual musicians... i mean 3 of the best drummers in recent history in the rev, portnoy, wackerman, plus syn being one of the best shredders of the last 25 years, and matt being one of the best vocalists to come out of metalcore... really solid proggy stuff which is overlooked due to their old dudebro image and silly stage names
