I dont have the navigation in my 2016 pilot. Does this mean there is no navigation hardware? Would I need to buy navigational hardware? Any ideas?

Well I do have a honda pilot 2016 EX-L but there’s 2 apps that there missing navigation and rear audio also I tried to use my Honda link it said I need to connect but we did connect I think it needs a upgrade

I too have been Wondering but Honda won't say. I doubt it will be an upgrade however, Honda doesn't tend to do that. So I suspect Pilots purchased without Android Auto won't be able to upgrade. But, that's just my guess.

GBraidi78 It damn seems so with my 17 pilot. That's why you buy a model a year after the "release" year. The 14 highlander infotainment was crappy as well.

I have the Honda Pilot 2016 Touring and I have a Galaxy S5 for some reason when I sync my phone and receive a call when I answer it the call automatically mutes and I can't take it off mute and the person on the other line can't hear me. Can you assist with this?

no only the ELITE does. I have the 17 Honda Pilot touring and found out after i got home it didnt have all that extra stuff on the app ugh.

I get you. The volume on the steering wheel is handy, but SLOOOOOWWWW. And there's no quick way to mute the audio either. Sometimes "21st century" tech fails you.

I'am not sure this one particularly for non-Navigation infotainment system, I find it annoying sometimes the security feature kicks in and wont let you to make a call, even with a speed dial, while driving. And the voice prompt is a crap joke, never ever able to dial even with parked. Looks like Hyundai and KIA got their act better in this matter (at least on the rental cars).

Theres a class action lawsuit filed against Honda for these system. They're all defective. This infotainment is the worst I've ever used. Even after a firmware update 2019, it still has bugs/defects that distract the driver. I'm signing up for the suit.
